Matthew 7:12 Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.

The “Golden Rule” isn’t always applied.

Lord, let your teachings leave an imprint on our hearts, and impression in our spirit. It cost nothing to be nice to others.

Prick our hearts with conviction. Let it be a reminder that we want to be treated with respect, compassion, kindness, and tolerance.  

If these characteristics are a challenge for us, it is profitable to our soul to learn restraint. In the name of Jesus, amen.
