Philippians 2:3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 

Lord, as I submit this prayer, I do it before a faithful God; who listens day to day. Minute by minute to a host of prayers. You will work out problems, thank you, for your goodness.

If we let go of vainglory, we will not think highly of ourselves, things should be done for your glory, not ours.  A humble spirit is your desire of us. 

Letting go of pride is a starting point, while our focus remains on you. I pray we honor you in this way. In the name of Jesus, amen.
