Matthew 13:4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up.

Matthew 13:8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Matthew 13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Lord, we pray for the seed of your word to plant in our hearts and spirit.

However, it does not always take root and grow. We do not receive the growth we can benefit from. 

Let the surrounding distractions not pull us from the understanding you place in our grasp. The interference is no accident, but we can overcome in the name of Jesus.
