Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 

Lord, unfortunately, we look at purity differently down here. Some pride themselves on what they view as pure.

It is usually based on ancestry. This “purity” will not gain us entrance into your kingdom.

The purity you seek in us is the clean and spotless, heart, spirit, and life that has been transformed from sin. This purity is the goal that I pray we seek. In the name of Jesus, amen.
