Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Lord, we know that we are to forgive others when they have wronged us, but one of the hardest things to do is forgive ourselves.

When we do something wrong or hurtful, and have apologized for it, it is the time to forgive ourselves.

Holding resentment against self is like an affliction that eats away at you, never giving you peace, and holds you in bondage in a pattern of belittling yourself.

Lord, I pray for these chains to be broken.
